About the Van Stael range

The Van Stael is Gazelle’s retro-inspired city bike, drawing directly from classic steel road bikes.

With slim steel tubing, lugged construction and a more active riding position, it feels very different from traditional upright Dutch bikes. It’s lighter, faster and more responsive.

What makes the Van Stael different

Unlike most Gazelle bikes, the Van Stael uses a sportier geometry and minimalist setup.

It combines classic styling — steel frame, leather saddle and grips — with modern reliability like hub gearing and puncture-resistant tyres.
