The Gazelle Makki Urban is an electric cargo bike designed for school runs, nursery drop-offs, shopping and everyday family riding.

It uses Bosch’s Smart System Active Line Plus motor with 50Nm of torque, giving smooth, quiet assistance for town riding and loaded everyday journeys.

What sets it apart

The Makki Urban is the most straightforward model in the Makki range.

It uses Shimano Nexus 5-speed hub gears with a Gates CDX belt drive, giving simple shifting, quiet running and low day-to-day maintenance. The high cargo box, stable frame and sturdy double stand make it practical for carrying children and everyday loads.

You still get the key family-cargo features, but with a simpler Bosch motor and gear setup than the higher-spec Makki Load and Travel models.
